Hunt The Stars is book one in the Starlight's Shadow Series by Jessie Mihalik. I like getting started on the ground floor of a new series. The world-building, getting familiar with the characters and the world they live in is exciting to me. Girl boss bounty hunter and a former general make up the couple dynamic. They're a fun and snarky coupling that makes the slow burn of their romance fire! I'm hooked and can't wait for more.
