Love K & T

Louder Than Love by Jessica Topper

“You've got this...this love-no, it's louder than love. It's passion and beauty built up inside you that deserves to burst out.” Widow with child and a washed up, recovering addict rock star of the 80’s is the heart of Louder Than Love. Set with New York as the pulse, this book has won me over heart and soul. Or heart and metal as the case may be.   There is just so much to say and I want to do it justice in highlighting every phase of this book and yet give nothing away. There are many lives lived within the pages of this book and what comes together in the end is nothing short of a passion for life that is Louder Than Love! Tree, or Katrina, is a grieving widow just trying to make a life. It’s been three years since the death of her husband and the pain is still fresh. The reader is taken through the tragedy of the loss told through Katrina’s memories. It really is painful to process. As a wife and mother you can empathize with her. I was in tears and w

Wicked Wind by Sharon Kay (Solsti #1)

4 stars**** This was a very unique paranormal romance that is full of passion, mystery and action. Nicole and her sisters have unique abilities that they have kept to themselves. Nicole has the ability to manipulate wind. They practice these abilities by stalking neighborhoods and intervening to stop crimes. A demon named Gunner spots them in action and follows Nicole out of curiosity. Eventually, with Gunner's help, Nicole finds out that she and her sisters are not human at all but Solsti. And, so begins the journey to discovering the reason why they exist while at the same time battling demons. As the story unfolds Nicole eventually goes with Gunner to the demon world in an effort to find answers. While in the demon world we are introduced some very interesting characters. The Nymphs were quite entertaining! Gunner and Nicole develop a strong passion for one another. If you're looking for a book that provides plenty of steamy time then you will like this one fo

Undressed by Avery Aster

4 stars **** The star of this book is definitely Massimo. He's adorable, sexy, lovable... the whole package! Oh, and he's a prince... :) Such a creative and well written character. He brought a smile to my face often and was just such a likable guy. I also really, really liked Lex in this book. She is a strong, independent, hard working fashionista who goes after what she wants. She had no problem meeting Massimo face to face to battle out their business issues. And, she manages to keep him in line in the romance department too. She goes after what she wants in business and also in romance... and she wants Massimo! Who doesn't??? Massimo and Lex have amazing chemistry together. All of my favorite Erotica books are the ones that successfully combine steamy with a really good story. If the sex overtakes the story then it usually loses my interest... and this has a great story. Massimo and Lex both have very interesting back stories that are tied w

Calculated Exposure by Holley Trent

Often when writing a review my style of reviewing tends to go more toward emotion rather than a “book report” review. After finishing Calculated Exposure I am left with a sweet smile curled around my lips and a longing of more. Calculated Exposure gives you a reminder that no matter where you come from you can steer your own path and make changes. This is so not what I expected after reading the first chapter.   I found both Curt and Erica’s characters to be endearing and engaging. What began as a flirt evolved into so much more.   I think the recipe for its success is due largely to the fact that it is written much more realistically. Real life is busy and complicated. People do have jobs and family issues that can’t be instantly solved. I enjoyed the chase in Calculated Exposure as well. Curt is funny and Erica takes no crap. There was good sizzle and the supporting characters all played well and felt comfortable in the story. No awkward weird friends on the fringe. Sol

Epiphany by Christina Jean Michaels

T's Review “For all the times I’d witnessed the murders of other women in my dreams, I’d failed to see my own.” Enter into the mind of a psychic as she realizes she is now part of the dream world that foretells the future. It’s a gripping place to be within the first few pages of Epiphany . A bartender and secretive psychic Mackenzie has run away from problems and her past to start over. Mackenzie is weary and not in the mood to indulge her friend and neighbor to party and pick up guys. She has been under a siege for horrifying dreams. Dreams filled with the rape, torture and murder of women. Deciding this is means enough to tie one on Mackenzie over indulges only to toss her cookies on a man she has seen before. Only they have never met in the waking world. She has dreamed of him for years in the most sensual ways. Aidan is tied to these murders. But in what way and will Mackenzie be safe with Aiden or just another victim? I really enjoyed this book! Give it
