What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon

In an unforgettable love story, a woman’s impossible journey through the ages could change everything . . . Anne Gallagher grew up enchanted by her grandfather’s stories of Ireland. Heartbroken at his death, she travels to his childhood home to spread his ashes. There, overcome with memories of the man she adored and consumed by a history she never knew, she is pulled into another time. The Ireland of 1921, teetering on the edge of war, is a dangerous place in which to awaken. But there Anne finds herself, hurt, disoriented, and under the care of Dr. Thomas Smith, guardian to a young boy who is oddly familiar. Mistaken for the boy’s long-missing mother, Anne adopts her identity, convinced the woman’s disappearance is connected to her own. As tensions rise, Thomas joins the struggle for Ireland’s independence and Anne is drawn into the conflict beside him. Caught between history and her heart, she must decide whether she’s willing to let go of the life she knew for a love

Willa & Hesper by Amy Feltman

I do love a beautiful book cover and Willa & Hesper by Amy Feltman is topping my list right now! Releasing Feb 5th, you’ll want it on your shelf. This is my first F/F read and I am happy to say it won’t be my last.   Get it on Amazon For fans of What Belongs to You by Garth Greenwell and The Futures by Anna Pitonia, a soul-piercing debut that explores the ways that past and present intertwine, queerness, and coming of age in uncertain times. In WILLA & HESPER, two young women fall in love. When they fall apart, they unwittingly take the same path to heal from their breakup, seeking answers in the lands of their ancestors. From Tbilisi, Georgia to the war sites of Germany, they discover what can break and what can mend when you look to the past to understand your present. Willa's darkness enters Hesper's light late one night in Brooklyn. Theirs is a whirlwind romance until Willa starts to know Hesper too well, to crawl into her hidden spaces, and Hesper shuts

IN THE DOG HOUSE by Traci Hall

Ten years ago, Jackson Hardy joined the Marines, leaving behind a woman he still dreams about. When he's called home to care for his ten-year-old nephew, no one is more shocked than he to run into Emma again. Or to still have those same feelings. But Jackson isn't looking for love, and neither is Emma, especially not with him. His precocious nephew, though, and a retriever named Bandit, are about to change that. So what if Emma Mercer is an overachiever? She has plans to get her doctorate in psychology and create a no-kill shelter for the EST dogs she trains. Which leaves absolutely no time for romance. She's fine with a furry family—dogs don't teach you to love and then rip your heart to shreds. But young Matty's situation tugs at her heartstrings and there's no way she can't help him…and Jackson. She may have hotter-than-ever chemistry with the soldier, but forgetting the past isn't easy. Get it on AMAZON Excerpt from In the Dog House by

Three Little Words by Jenny Holiday

ALL THE THINGS! This book has all the things I love. It’s a deliciously, sexy, swoony, smokin hot chemistry laden, hilariously snarky book! Woo... that's a lot of adjectives. ((smiles)) Check out the blurb for all the in-depth details, but stay here for the down and dirty. Get the book. Don’t read too many reviews, you don't want spoilers. Just know that you are in for a great ride, pun intended, with Gia and Bennett. One of the best situational romance comedies I’ve read in a while. Go. Get it. Read it. Love it. Laugh. ~Tanja Gia Gallo is officially in bridesmaid hell. Stranded in New York with her best friend's wedding dress, Gia has six days to make it to Florida in time for the ceremony. And oh-so-charming best man Bennett Buchanan has taken the last available rental car. Looks like she's in for one long road trip with the sexiest - and most irritating - Southern gentleman she's ever met... Bennett's pretty sure that if there was ever a

The Way You Love Me by Miranda Liasson

I am really loving this series! It has all the things needed for sweet, small-town romances. I am a fan of a small town community where the stories intertwine and connect with characters and atmosphere. Miranda is making a beautiful tapestry of people to follow and get lost with. In book two in the series, we get the treat of following Gabby and the single father Caden. It's an adult “teacher-student” troupe the will make you smile and swoon. Their back and forth is often funny and wholly engaging. Another great read from Miranda Liasson ~Tanja A heartwarming story about love, family, and taking risks that matter Gabby Langdon has always tried to make people happy. She even went to law school to please her father, and now she's a highly successful-albeit bored-attorney. But Gabby secretly dreams of being a writer, so for once she does something for herself-she signs up for a writing class taught by best-selling novelist Caden Marshall. There's only

Just who is Alessia Demachi? And

Like the Wind by J Bengtsson

No truer words have been spoken about a book. The first line in the blurb provided says it all... “Prepare to laugh, cry, and fall in love with this enthralling new romance from J. Bengtsson!“ I went into the audible of Like the Wind not knowing the author or much else of the book. Just an eye-catching cover and a curiosity. Wow, I am I ever glad I did. From the very beginning, I was captured by the voice of Bodhi (Shane East). Side note, I love this narrator. Within the first few hours of listening I’d laughed AND cried. It was a beautiful emotional read, yet at times it was a belly laugh. The kinship and banter between Breeze and Bodhi are contagious. I was always left wanting more. Feeling an irritation when I couldn't get back to my book fast enough. The story is imaginative and the outlying side characters, canine and human, add a flavor and texture that made listening an absolute dream. As I said before, I am left wanting more. I hope this standalone is just the beginning

From the author of  Something Like Happy  comes an uplifting and emotionally compelling novel about a woman in a coma fighting for a second chance at life, love and happiness. Rosie Cooke is “in between.” In between consciousness and oblivion. Life and death. And though some say that when you’re near death your entire life flashes before your eyes, Rosie can’t remember anything at all—not even how she ended up in a coma. At least not at first. Then something strange starts to happen. Rosie finds herself revisiting scattered moments from her past: a beach vacation, a play rehearsal, the day her brother was born. But why these memories? And what do they mean? As each piece of the puzzle comes into focus, Rosie struggles to face the picture of her life that forms. But with every look backward comes a glimpse of what might be: A relationship with her sister. The opportunity to pursue her passion. A second chance at love. And Rosie just might discover that she has muc

Then There Was You by Miranda Liasson

But will it work? Serafina is headed back home to begin work with her father. A medical practice with him will be just what she needs after the disaster of her failed engagement. I will sum this up for you. It’s funny, sweet and is what I consider a perfect handbag book. Get it. Read it. Love it. ~Tanja Fresh from her residency, Serafina Langdon returns to her hometown to join her father's general medical practice a year after her fiancé jilted her. More than anything, Sara just wants to move on, but that becomes impossible once she discovers that the man who was responsible for her broken engagement, and who is also her ex-fiance's best friend, is now the Angel Falls chief of police. As police chief, Colton Walker is devoted to his small town, and he's e
