Renovated to Death by Frank Anthony Polito

Releasing May 31st - Get it on Amazon To know me is to know that I love a good whodunit. I like the hunt, the Chase, and figuring out what happened. This is my first time reading anything by Frank Anthony Polito. I'm always excited to find new voices in this genre. I enjoyed the back-and-forth chatter, the antics of their friends, and all the interpersonal relationships. Having said that, the constant change of POV could be at times confusing. I did find the constant razing and amplified drama of mundane issues to be a bit taxing but overall I enjoyed the feel and premise of this book. Will I be picking up the next book in the series? Absolutely! I feel like its gonna keep getting better the further the series (hopefully) moves along. ~Tanja *Thank you to KensingtonPublishing via Netgalley for the ARC From the Cover... Half-Blown Rose by Leesa Cross-Smith

Releases May 31st ~ Get it on Amazon Wow, you guys. Talk about an epic journey. I have a soft spot for books where the heroine is making a comeback of sorts.  When a person must reaccess their life and where they are going. Especially when much has been kept secret from her within her and her husbands relationship. It has an  Eat, Pray, Love feel to it in a way. Beautifully written but instead of things being sorted out and resolutions being made. It just gets even more complicated. I loved it, but I am also very confused in the most fabulous way. ~Tanja From the Cover... An irresistible story of a woman remaking her life after her husband’s betrayal leads to a year of travel, art, and passion in Paris, from the award-winning author of This Close to Okay.   Vincent, having grown up as the privileged daughter of artists, has a lovely life in many ways. At forty-four, she enjoys strolling the streets of Paris and teaching at the modern art museum; she has a vibr

Always Practice Safe Hex Juliette Cross

Out Today! ~ Get it on Amazon What I really need to practice is not opening a book at 10pm on a Wednesday night. Cause at 2:30am Thursday morning with bleary eyes  I closed the book. Thank you Juliet cross for depriving me of all the sleep I needed, but just like Livy Savoir felt the morning after... it was so worth it! Grim Reaper Gareth Blackwell delivered on all the things I needed. I'm amazed at how Juliet Cross inevitably gets better and better with every book she produces. The stay at spell series is going down as one of my all-time favorite book series in the PNR genre. Always filled with love, kindness, and smartly crafted women. It takes a great woman to write great women. That I know for sure. And the ability to write these beautiful flawed yet caring men.? Amazing. Every one of her books plays out like a movie in my head. I could see it on the big screen or the small screen with a fantastic soundtrack. Take notice Netflix. This needs to happen. Al

The Billionaire & The Monk by Vibhor Kumar Singh

Bethany Bennett delivers once more with the Duke of Trenton and the lovely Lady Hardwick. If you haven't read the first two books in the series stop what you're doing and grab them now. They are going to play a vital role in Dukes Do It Better. I enjoyed everything about this. From the way these two meet - to how they circumvent their current circumstances. It's all devilishly fun. The Love List by Elana Johnson

Get it on Amazon Can I just say, I love a book where thought and love have been put into the physical details! The artwork that heads the beginning of each chapter and the embellishments added throughout are just fantastic. I know it seems simple but it adds so much to the reading experience. As for the story of Beatrice Callahan, well... let's make a list. 💙I celebrate women who make changes even when they are hard. 💙New is scary but it's exciting too. 💙Love lists are better than bucket lists. I thoroughly enjoyed The Love List. It's perfect for any beach bag or sandy shore. Funny, loving, and kind in all ways. I can't wait for more. ~Tanja *Thank you to @inkslinger for sharing this title with me. I am proud to have it on my bookshelf. From the Cover... Beatrice Callahan loves lists. Blame It on the Brontes Annie Sereno

OUT NOW! Get it on Amazon I’m not sure where to begin. From the get-go, Athena Murphy is rather grumpy and ill-tempered. At first, I thought it was nervousness and having to meet up with her ex, but sadly no—she’s just kind of unlikable and grumpy all around. There’s a negativity about her that I don't like, but with any new book, you’ve got to give characters time to evolve, change, and become more, right? This one’s a quandary for me. To be honest, my feelings for our main character didn’t improve. However, when you meet her mother you begin to understand why she is the way she is. Her mother shames her for eating Girl Scout cookies with a quip of “a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips.” She herself shames her ex by patting his tummy and saying “you’ve gained a few pounds" without provocation. That type of stuff I’ve never been a fan of. It’s just body shaming for the sake of it. It's something I don't care for. Having said all that—I’

Tear Down the Throne by Jennifer Estep

Releases May 3rd - Get it on Amazon Y’all I can’t. I just can’t! It has been a lengthy amount of time since I’ve dived into a fantasy series. It's one of my favorite genres and practically the only thing I would read. I took a break and diversified my reading but my heart just belongs in fantasy, action, and adventure. Jennifer Estep is one of the most prolific voices in this genre. Being able to dive back into this world and having her be the captain of that ship? Chefs kiss. I finished book one, Capture the Crown, and I’m halfway through the second book, Tear Down the Throne, and I’m still flabbergasted by how much I love it all. Tear Down the Throne comes out tomorrow!!! Order your copy ASAP. ~Tanja From the Cover... Bestselling author Jennifer Estep continues her Gargoyle Queen epic fantasy series where magic reigns, alliances are tested, and a dangerous attraction could tear down a throne. . . Crown princess. Clever spy. Powerful mind magier. Gemma Rip
