Second Chance at Sunflower Ranch by Carolyn Brown

Releasing July 27th Get it on Amazon Book one in the new The Ryan Family series is a hit! Of course, anything from author Carolyn Brown is going to be amazing. She's just that kind of writer. Second Chance at Sunflower Ranch is just that, A second chance for retired combat vet medic Jess Ryan and the girl he left behind, Addison Hall. He comes home to find he has much more than he could have ever expected. I did find the reasons for him to be left in the dark unfair not only to him but to his child as well. Having said that, I did enjoy the story immensely. ~Tanja From the Cover... Retired combat medic Jesse Ryan hasn’t been home much since he enlisted twenty years ago. Now he’s headed back to Texas to help take care of his aging foster parents and run Sunflower ranch. But when he gets there, he finds his parents’ live-in nurse is Addison Hall, his high school best friend and the woman he always regretted leaving behind after their one steamy night together before he shipped out.

A Good Day for Chardonnay by Darynda Jones (Sunshine Vicram #2)

Releases July 27th Get it on Amazon https://amzn.to/3qOqN2S It's the morning after... I finished reading A Good Day for Chardonnay around 1:30 last night and for some reason, I am close to tears while writing this. Why? Gosh, you guys, I feel like it's been a long year and for the first time in a long time, I felt kinda normal again reading the words from Darynda Jones. It felt comforting and familiar. I didn't want it to end. Sun is such a kind and loving character and when you throw in the humor and spark she supplies, well... she's my kinda gal. Her back and forth with Levi is a thing of beauty. I swear this needs to be picked up by Netflix and made into a series.  Once again I am left needing more. 5 Sunshiny Stars ~Tanja From the Cover... Running a small-town police force in the mountains of New Mexico should be a smooth, carefree kind of job. Sadly, full-time Sheriff--and even fuller-time coffee guzzler--Sunshine Vicram, didn't get that memo. All Sunshine rea

Claimed by J.R. Ward ~ Review ~ Excerpt ~ Giveaway

On Sale July 27th Get it on Amazon https://amzn.to/2UiCvsn Wards writing style is an absolute thing of beauty. From the very first paragraph, I felt like I was home. Her descriptive powers have once again immersed and excited me into her world. She has a knack for using funny-snarky banter as a weapon of sorts. It pulls you in and makes you want to stay. Claimed is book one in a brand new series, Lair of the Wolven. It's a spin-off of The Black Dagger Brotherhood series, specifically from one of the existing characters' past. However, Claimed is centered on two new characters while building this world on the fringe of BDB. Lydia and Daniel make for a powerful dynamic. Both are strong-minded and driven individuals with a sense of purpose and integrity. There's much mystery and intrigue going on that it had me doubting almost everyone connected to the Wolf Study Project. It's a mystery lovers' dream! Fans of Ward are going to be "over the moon" The final twi

The Matchmaker Bride by Ginny Baird

Releasing July 27th Get it on Amazon https://amzn.to/3eAaJhQ Oooooooh (smirky smile) This is all the good book trope things rolled into one! Can you say, enemies to friends/pretend couple/friends to lovers and so much more. I fell in love with Ginny Bairds sweet and romantic storytelling when I read The Duplicate Bride last year. To say I have been excited about this release is an understatement.  Meredith Galane, and her disaster of a love life, delivers herself to the front door of laid-back boat maker Derrick Albright. The combination of chemistry and somewhat questionable plans make for a fabulous read!  The Matchmaker Bride is a fun and enjoyable read. Perfect for those beach bags! ~Tanja From the Cover... Successful Boston matchmaker and television personality Meredith Galanes’s reputation is on the line. During a guest appearance on a morning talk show, she’s broadsided by questions about her own romantic attachments, just as she’s trying to secure a syndication deal. Afraid to

Only for You by Barb Curtis

Releases July 27th Get it on amazon Barb Curtis is back with book two in the Sapphire Springs series! And I thought you couldn't ask for a more perfect pairing for a second chance romance than Jay Winter and Lyna Milan from book one. Well, I wasn't wrong, but Tim and Emily may have just pushed them from the top spot. The fake relationship/friends to lovers trope is a favorite of mine and Barb Curtis did it so well. Only You is everything I love in a sweet romance. ~Tanja From the Cover... Barb Curtis returns to Sapphire Springs with this heartwarming romance where a small-town bakery owner finds herself in a fake relationship with the man she's always pined after. I just started reading Look What You Made Me Do by Elaine Murphy and I can tell you for sure, it won't be the last time I'll be picking up one of her books. I have never read a story from an accomplices point of view before. And honestly, she can't even be called that. Carrie is truly an unwilling participant in her sister's sinister life. I have real hopes for what may happen in the end. Or at least I know what I want the ending to be, but as for now, I am just along for the ride!! I know I can't call this a true review as I'm not finished reading, but I couldn't wait to share about it! ~Tanja From the Cover... A gripping thriller about a woman who must help cover the tracks of her serial killer sister -- only to discover her sibling isn't the only serial killer in town . . . and they're both next on his kill list. Absolutely perfect for a beach bag and relaxing in the sun. Author Sara Richardson has a way of making her characters feel like party of your own family. The Retreat by Elisabeth de Mariaffi

Releasing July 20th Get it on Amazon https://amzn.to/3jVhTjY Caught in an avalanche, Mauve is now experiencing more than she bargained for. It was supposed to be a retreat. One to center herself and set the stage for a new career avenue. Instead, Mauve is caught up in the drama of murder.  The Retreat has Agath Christie/Murder on the Orient Express vibes. It's a group of seemingly likable people trying to survive till help comes, but someone is a murderer.  The Retreat of a fun thrill ride. I can't wait to read more from author Elisabeth de Mariaffi. ~Tanja From the Cover... She came looking for inspiration. Instead, disaster strikes. Only... was it really a lifeline or just another type of ending? The Room has an eerie unease to it. Told with an artistic flair by author Hannah Adkins. It was a very different adventure than what I was expecting. It's a fresh take on the futuristic mystery. One I enjoyed fully. ~Tanja From the Cover... Dark. Sexy. Thrilling. The Room gives you perfection through that door, but at what price? The Room is a thriller fictional novel set in the not-so-distant future. It subtly questions how technology and its ability to control the human mind can affect life itself. Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross

Releasing July 20th Get it on Amazon https://amzn.to/2T7rRUl I spent my Sunday in the supernatural world of the Savoie sisters. Violet Savoie to be exact. From the get-go Violet comes at you full force. She's kick-ass and sexy. Smart-mouthed and quick-witted. You are instantly drawn to her and her overall presence. And then there's Nico Cruz. "Ever heard that phrase when time stood still? I'd never felt it myself, until that moment.   --Was he the one?" Nico is playing the long game. He knows he has to. For the majority of Witches get Stitches we get to indulge in a deliciously edible slow burn. Romance aside, the backstory and subplot make me hungry for more. I am excited for what's to come and love how the Stay A Spell world is expanding and moving. I would be amiss not to mention the rest of the Savoie sisters and their loves. We get to have snippets and a few revelations from the couples previously showcased in the series and a massive, I feel, reveal of w

Lights Out in Lincolnwood by Geoff Rodkey

Let's chuck all the modern conveniences we're used to and face the pending apocalypse. I surprised myself with how much I laughed! ~Tanja From the Cover... A Cup of Silver Linings by Karen Hawkins

Releases July 6th Get it on Amazon https://amzn.to/3d4Vexv Book two in the Dove Pond Series by Karen Hawkins is filled with tea leaves and magic. There is something so soothing about this series. I'm not sure if it's the melodic writing style, or that I crave and drink freshly brewed tea while reading. I know it's a crazy juxtaposition as the main character Ava is in a dizzying state while trying to open her tea shop, but it all just speaks to me. I am thrilled to have been gifted this wonderful read by Gallery Books and I can't wait to continue on with the series. It's a joy! ~Tanja From The Cover...
