AMAZON US  |  AMAZON UK  |  AMAZON AU  |  B&N Rancher Destry Reeves is your typical country boy; he believes in hard work and the easy life. None of which he recognises in Amelia Highsmith. When a chance encounter involving a cow, a truck and a dark Texan night puts the two on a collision course, it's not long before the fireworks begin and the simple life is turned upside down. The last thing Amelia expects is for a brute of a cowboy to get in the way of her new life. She's left behind a world of high class dinners and city lights in an effort to escape a life she never wanted. Amelia finds herself in a world so far removed from home that it becomes impossible to break free without finding herself first. She loves the country, the people, and what AIA stands for, but too many diva volunteers have turned her off to press-seeking celebrities altogether and left her questioning the value of the volunteer program. *Twisted by Emma Chase

Honestly, to keep this spoiler free is hard to do. So here goes nothing.   The short and sweet of Twisted.   Hot and sexy right off the bat. Drew is an immature a$$ hat and does the unforgivable when he thinks the worst of Kate. Kate takes off. Kate has decisions to make and a life to sort out. Drew decides to man up and gets punched in the face. YAY! Kate takes control and learns that she can make her own set of rules. Drew takes over the epilogue and hilarity ensues once again!   This really wasn’t what I expected as a book two in the Tangled Series. I cried a lot while reading this one. I mean a lot. Kate had some really touching moments and as a woman these issues really hit home. It was honest and raw. Like I said, it was unexpected. Oh, there are still some laugh out loud moments and Kate has her own snarky thoughts but it is most definitely different from book one.   I didn’t like Drew as much this go around. He comes off childish and immatu
