Up To No Gouda by Linda Reilly

Out Now! Get it on Amazon! https://amzn.to/3BEVfDH I like a good mystery I can sink my teeth into and if what I’m sinking into happens to be a grilled cheese sandwich we’ll… All the better. Up To No Gouda, A Grilled Cheese Mystery by Linda Riley, is the first book in a brand new series. It’s as warm and inviting as a bowl of tomato soup on a cold winter's day. I guess that’s why I found this read so comforting. It’s the middle of February, it’s cold outside, and I’m just trying to make it to spring. What better way to kill time than to figure out a murder. Carly Hale and the townspeople of Balsam Dell create a fantastic cast of characters. I can’t wait for what’s to come in the series! ~Tanja *Thank you to Poisoned Pen Press / SourceBooks for sharing this title with me. From the Cover... Where There's a Will by Sulari Gentill

Get it on Amazon ~  https://amzn.to/3gW0Mfe This is my first time reading a work by Sulari Gentill. When I saw it available through Poisoned Pen Press I decided there’s no time like the present to introduce myself to him. I'm starting out with the Roland Sinclair World War II ten-book mystery series. This series has gotten a ton of praise and it makes me excited to jump in. I enjoyed the cadence and feel of this book and after starting I've decided to pause, take my time, and thoroughly enjoy it all. I’ll update once I’m finished but for now I’m excited to backtrack and start with book one. Can I also comment on the cover style and art? Lovely! ~Tanja From the Cover... HIP-HOP (AND OTHER THINGS) is about, as it were, rap, but also some other things. It's a smart, fun, funny, insightful book that spends the entirety of its time celebrating what has become the most dominant form of music these past two and a half decades. Tupac is in there. Jay Z is in there. Missy Elliott is in there. Drake is in there. Pretty much all of the big names are in there, as are a bunch of the smaller names, too.   There's art from acclaimed illustrator Arturo Torres, there are infographics and footnotes; there's all kinds of stuff in there. Some of the chapters are serious, and some of the chapters are silly, and some of the chapters are a combination of both things. All of them, though, are treated with the care and respect that they deserve. HIP-HOP (AND O

If you’re looking for a little ASMR please feel free to check out the TickTock of the unboxing. But first and foremost let me tell ya... Hayes Walker is mine. All mine. I am not sharing him with anyone. The second chance romance is exactly what this reader needed. It’s chemistry, sweet Pups, heart-tugging moments, and ultimately love that is everlasting. On a personal note, I lost my sweet Maggie pup after loving her for 14 years. It’s been six months and I’m still not ready for a new fur baby in my life. I really like the fact that Lynne not only recognized how impactful the loss of a pet is but she was honest and gentle with

Sealed in Sin by Juliette Cross ~ Re-release with new cover!

Get it on Amazon ~  https://amzn.to/332Kjmc Below is the original review of Sealed in Sin written by co-blogger Kathy (K) in 2015. I miss you every day. 5 Wowza Stars!! Oh No!!! I need book three... that ending... I'm a little sad and anxious now... Gosh... I liked book one but I LOVED book two... :) Genevieve's character is maturing and evolving and she is growing more powerful every day. The race to keep her from being captured and possessed by the demons is tense and a full time job. Jude, her primary protector is such an intriguing character. I really like him. The tension filled connection between Gen and Jude is getting harder for them to resist. More specifically, sexual tension! Jude oozes sex appeal but he's also very dark and dangerous. But, when it comes to the woman he loves, he is protective, patient, careful and honorable. I love how their connection to each other evolved into something very deep and emotional. His careful touch with her was surprisingly swee

I find myself taking notes and wanting to learn more about these sisters than what I've gained from movies and television. I am pleased to say I'm a fan of author Giovinazzo. Act Like You Got Some Sense by Jamie Foxx

Get it on Amazon ~  https://amzn.to/3rfcMP2 I have loved Jamie Foxx since the days of In Living Color. I've followed his career in movies and in interviews, I have always found him to be just a genuine person. He’s funny and that’s a draw but I think it’s what I’ve seen as a person that I really enjoy. So when Act Like You Got Some Sense came out I was very excited. The way he interacts with his family, the way he just speaks... it’s all so normal and non-preachy. He seems genuine and there’s something about that resonates and sticks. I really enjoyed this book and I kind of wanna get to know more of his daughter and hear her play the piano. I hope Billie Eilish got to hear it too. ~Tanja *Thank you to Grand Central Publishing for sharing this title with me. In this hilarious and heartfelt memoir, award-winning, multi-talented entertainer Jamie Foxx shares the story of being raised by his no-nonsense grandmother, the glamour and pitfalls of life in Hollywood, and the lessons he to

Re-release ~ Forged in Fire by Juliette Cross

Get it on Amazon ~  https://amzn.to/3gbEuFS Below is the original review of Forged in Fire written by co-blogger Kathy (K) in 2015. I miss you every day. The star of this book was definitely Jude... dark, mysterious, powerful, attractive... a really great character. In fact, all of the male characters in this book were very intriguing... in particular the demon Dante. All of the scenes between him and Gen were edgy and had me glued to the pages. On Gen's twentieth birthday she is awakened and quickly realizes that she is now being hunted by demons to claim her as a vessel. Jude is a demon hunter and her protector... he hopes to teach her to protect herself from the demons as she is thought to be a major player in a prophecy. Dante, a Demon Prince, will stop at nothing to claim her so Jude definitely has his hands full. I loved all of the descriptive art and the inclusion of Latin in the story... it made it more visual and mysterious. Gen's mom was a painter and before she died
