Game of Love by Melissa Foster
Releasing February/March 2014
GAME OF LOVE and The Remingtons are the newest addition to the LOVE IN BLOOM series by New York Times & USA Today bestselling and award-winning author Melissa Foster.Ellie Parker is a master at building walls around her heart. In the twenty-five years she’s been alive, Dex Remington has been the only person who has always believed in her and been there for her. But four years earlier she came to Dex seeking comfort, and then disappeared like a thief in the night, leaving him a broken man.
Dex Remington is one of the top PC game developers in the U.S. He’s handsome, smart, and numb. So damn numb that he’s not sure he’ll ever find a reason to feel again.
A chance encounter sparks intense desires in Ellie and Dex. Desires that make her want to run—and make him want to feel. A combination of lust and fear leads these young lovers down a dangerous path. Is it possible to cross a burned bridge or are they destined to be apart forever?
Melissa enjoys discussing her books with book clubs and reader groups, and welcomes an invitation to your event.
Ellie
and Dex spent part of their childhood together and have now found each other
again. Game of Love is a sweet story of how these two went from friends to more
than friends and finally lovers.
It’s
one of those books that’s slow building and spends a lot of time with Ellie regretting
past decisions made. As a foster child Ellie was moved around a few times and
she really is unsure of how to handle things when emotions are involved. Her go to reaction is to run.
Well, Dex is not having it anymore. He is standing his ground this time and not
letting Ellie escape. His heart just can’t take it anymore.
Watching
Ellie grow up, emotionally, is the bulk of the story really. It’s a sweet and
easy read. Perfect for an afternoon or as I like to call it “waiting room read”.
