SUMMARY:

Ryley Clarke has grown up with the military in her blood, with both parents serving their country. Ryley knows the risks of being married to the military. But when the unthinkable happens, and her future husband is killed in action, Ryley can barely survive... until Evan's twin brother, Nate, helps her pick up the pieces.
After serving on a special mission with the military for six years, Evan Archer returns home to find the unthinkable - the love of his life, Ryley Clarke - engaged to his brother, Nate.  With Nate on deployment, Evan needs to figure out what happened in his absence, and more importantly, how to win Ryley back from the man he once considered his best friend, but now thinks of as his rival.
5 Gripping stars*****

Oh man!!! I need book two... like immediately... gimme... gimme... gimme!

This is a love triangle that had me tumbling on an emotional roller coaster all the way through the book!   One brother comes back from the dead to find his fiance' is now bethrothed to his twin.   There is shock, confusion and feelings of betrayal from both Evan and Ryley.  The beginning of this book switches back and forth between Evan and Ryley's POV while they are seeing a therapist.  This is how we learn how they met and fell in love.  It was a touching and beautiful love story.  They are now both searching for an answer to an impossible situation and trying to come to terms with all that they have missed and how to move forward.
Just when I thought I had decided whose side to be on... the ending had me back to square one when Evan's twin brother finally returns home and I realized his love for her is just as real.  My heart immediately dropped into my stomach.  This story is so different from your typical love triangle scenario... It's laced with real emotions, confusion and mystery.  How and why did this happen??  That is the question that kept me turning the pages.
This is not a stand alone and even though I'm not a huge fan of cliffhangers, this story has captivated me and has me on the edge of my seat. The emotions that Ryley and Evan experience with the shock of his return were very well written and had me quickly turning the pages. There truly are no winners in this scenario... but, you want everyone to win. I have no idea what I would do if I were in Ryley's position.  Like I said...  emotional roller coaster!
I can't wait for the story to get to the nitty gritty of the why and how in regards to the mystery behind what happened to Evan and his SEAL team. The author only barely scratched the surface of that part of the story which is why I'm on the edge of my seat! Seriously... I can't wait for book two...
