Alright now! THIS. THIS! Is my kind of read. I was laughing so hard at times my husband asked my “What in the world are you reading?” My response? “If the movies Sweet Home Alabama and The Proposal had a book baby THIS would be it!

The suave, educated, and sophisticated lawyer, Stanton Shaw, heads home to Mississippi with his friend-with-benefits coworker Sofia Santos. He might be slick up north but down south…. That’s a whole other story.

You can read the blurb, it tells you exactly what’s going on. What I will tell you is that Emma Chase has hit it out of the ball park with this one. Her writing and satirical humor is what made me fall in love with Tangled and it is back with a vengeance in this new series.

It’s best described as out of left field humor. You just don’t see it coming, and then BAM! right in the face. Not to mention it’s an adorably sexy and wildly addictive read.
