The Bookstore by the Bay by Pamela Kelley

Two women, two different stories, but a thread of love that ties them all together. An impromptu reunion of sorts will help these women process their independent lives to become closer than ever before. This is a perfect summer read if women’s fiction is your preferred escapism. The Bookstore by the Bay is about three strong independent women with very big life changes happening. Jess is a lawyer, who not only finds out her husband has cheated after 30 years of marriage he's also expecting a child with his mistress. I absolutely love the book but if I’m being honest, I expected higher levels of anger to be thrown at her soon-to-be ex-husband. But maybe that’s just it. Maybe the lack of real anger is telling. The Bookshop by the Bay is out now everywhere books are sold. Happy reading!
