Oh, this was fun. Kicking off a new series by new-to-me author Melissa Cassera is Control. A book that introduces us to a young Natalie Covington and her life at an elite boarding school. Control is very much a PNR but it comes across in subtle ways. I wish we got to luxuriate with more intimate details of the character's thoughts and feelings. At times I wanted more insights and a deeper connection with these characters. That being said, Control is a fun read and I'm excited to see where this is headed. Warning: we are left on a cliffhanger but also with a happy surprise.
