I simply adore being able to read the beginnings of a brand new series! The map is made, the introductions and platforms are raised for what's to come in future books. It's also a way to see into an author's thoughts and thinking process of what they want to bring to an audience. It Takes Heart is exactly that. A start to a new series and a second chance for Brandon and Geneva!
I am a sucker for a good second-chance romance. Add in the family history, culture, and a setting that has me wanting to book a trip down south... well, that's book perfection to me!
