Incredible. The absolute best suspense novel I’ve heard this year. The relationship between Laurel Snow and Captain Huck Rivers is incredibly endearing. The way they maneuver, work, and exist with each other is what makes this series phenomenal. Zanetti has crafted a new series and a group of characters that has staying power and drives this reader to want and know more. I feel like this series can be around for years to come. I am unsure of what Zanetti has planned for it but I really hope it becomes a staple in her yearly releases. What more can I say? I absolutely loved everything about it.
