Coming June 25th
Aspen is scared for her life, and Case is her last hope for protection. But to get him on her side, she'll have to reveal the painful truth from all those years ago. Now, as they work together to track down a dangerous criminal, Case and Aspen learn to trust each other. And as the threats escalate, it becomes clear there's a thin line between love and hate... because there's nothing Case wouldn't do to keep her safe.
The "Good Ole Boy" network has been alive and well in Loveless, Texas for far too long. Corruption in law enforcement has seen to that. But the son of the previous sheriff is trying to change it. Case Lawton is attempting to do good for his community, but his personal life? Not so much. Case tends to show nothing but his worst toward the town lawyer he has decided earned all his ire.
Justified is a big change for me as a reader and a fan of Crownover. I've read all of her Marked Men and Saints of Denver series. So this new style and small-town atmosphere of Justified felt different and fresh to me. I really enjoyed the change and can't wait to see what comes next in the series.
