I was immediately intrigued by this story when I read the blurb and I'm glad I gave it a go because I really enjoyed it! Very emotional and heartfelt. Even though this is the third book in the series I had no trouble reading this as a stand alone. I love stories that revolve around people overcoming tragedy. These types of books are always very empowering and inspiring. Joelly was in need of a little push to move forward in her life and Alec was definitely prepared to give her some well needed tough love. Alec was also struggling with his own demons so he knew from experience what she needed. A well written story of two people who seemed to find their way to a better life through each other. This is a great book option for anyone who is looking for a story that not only touches the heart, but also affords and opportunity to look at life a little differently than they did before.
