It’s been five years since Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett first worked together to solve the Tri-State murders, and time has been both harsh and kind. Engaged now, they face the challenge of planning a deeply uncertain future together. Zane is at the pinnacle of his career with one last mystery to solve, while Ty is at sea in a world where he’s no longer the tip of a spear.
There’s just one more hurdle in the way of their happy ever after: a traitor from their inner circle who threatens to burn their world to the ground.
Squeezed between the Vega cartel, an unknown mole, and too many alphabet agencies to count, Ty and Zane must gather all their strength and resources to beat the longest odds they’ve ever faced. To make it out alive, they’ll need help from every friend they’ve got. Even the friends who might betray their trust.
Abigail Roux was born and raised in North Carolina. A past volleyball star who specializes in sarcasm and painful historical accuracy, she currently spends her time coaching high school volleyball and investigating the mysteries of single motherhood. Any spare time is spent living and dying with every Atlanta Braves and Carolina Panthers game of the year.
Abigail has a daughter, Little Roux, who is the light of her life, a boxer, four rescued cats who play an ongoing live-action variation of Call of Duty throughout the house, a certifiable extended family down the road, and a cast of thousands in her head.

    I'm still re-reading the whole series to prepare myself for the last book. I have mixed feelings, though, because I'm really looking forward to it but, at the same time, I do not think I'm prepared to part with Ty and Zane yet...

    This whole series is amazing, I loved every moment of it, and I'm so sad that it had ended. But damn, has it ended well! Massive thanks to Abi (and to Madelein) for bringing Ty and Zane to life, and giving us such amazing characters and gripping stories.

    I made a pledge to myself to reread the first 8 before reading #9 and I've got about 1/3 of B&C left so as much as my fingers are itchin' to open C&B up, I'm sticking to my pledge. But, as soon as I "turn" the final page of B&C, page 1 of C&B is opening up-no matter what time of day it is.

    I actually love the cover though it kinda breaks the unwritten rule about inanimate objects being portrayed :) All the fires were so devastating - they will leave their marks on us for sure.

    I have not wanted to read the final one because it is the final one. I love Ty and Zane so much and would love more of them, as well as the Sidewinders. I'm 100 pages into Crash and Burn and every time I pick it up to read further, I just can't bring myself to do it.

    I love the creation Abi has made and it's going to make me sad to finally finish it.

    I’ve been looking forward to this final book in the Cut & Run series with excitement and dismay–as eager as I’ve been to discover how Ty and Zane’s story finally turned out, I’ve also dreaded saying goodbye. I enjoyed Crash & Burn more than I ever expected to (I may have read it twice, haha) and, while saying goodbye to these characters still stings, the end of this series felt satisfying, well balanced, and just *right.*
