Ride Steady (Chaos #3) by Kristen Ashley

There are things in my book world that I can always count on. Kristen Ashley being pretty much consistent is one of them. Powerful emotions, smart dialogue and a great love story are her wheel house. It is what she does and she does it well.

Ride Steady is no exception. It’s been awhile since I have delved into the world of Chaos and it is no surprise, once I was immersed again, I was taken aback by how much I missed it. For fans of KA it will be a tremendous treat. Many characters from different series show up for cameos and are also part of the storytelling fabric. Loved it!

The story is of two people that had a small connection in high school and reconnect with each other; each in very different places than expected in life. A young mother, Carissa, who was once the prom queen, but now finds herself alone, stole my heart. The big bad biker with very little emotion, Joker, is not at all the kid he was in school: the loner, the outcast, and the one that all the girls kept their eyes on.

Ride Steady is Kristen Ashley at her best. It’s fun, sexy, and filled with caring alphas that will melt the coldest of hearts.

The ride of her life . . .
Once upon a time, Carissa Teodoro believed in happy endings. Money, marriage, motherhood: everything came easy---until she woke up to the ugly truth about her Prince Charming. Now a struggling, single mom and stranded by a flat tire, Carissa's pondering her mistakes when a vaguely familiar knight rides to her rescue on a ton of horsepower.

Climb on and hold tight . . .
In high school, Carson Steele was a bad boy loner who put Carissa on a pedestal where she stayed far beyond his reach. Today, he's the hard-bodied biker known only as Joker, and from the way Carissa's acting, it's clear she's falling fast. While catching her is irresistible, knowing what to do with her is a different story. A good girl like Carissa is the least likely fit with the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Too bad holding back is so damned hard. Now, as Joker's secrets are revealed and an outside threat endangers the club, Joker must decide whether to ride steady with Carissa---or ride away forever
