::::SYNOPSIS::::

I was happy in my small town. In my life as a single, thirty-two year old woman. I had a good job, wonderful friends, my independence.
I also hadn't got laid in three years. Hadn't been on a date in two. Had stopped counting calories and wearing makeup... a while ago.
Then Brett Jacobs waltzed in. Caressed my thigh, dug rough fingers into my hair, lowered his soft mouth to my skin, took sexual control of my mind and stirred it all around with what he packed in his pants. He flipped my quiet life upside down and crawled into a place in my heart I thought was dead.
The issues?
His secret.
Her.
The fact that I don't even know she exists, and he thinks she's dead.
Everything is about to hit the fan and I can't hold on to him tight enough.

5 stars*****

My FAVORITE read by this author so far... Suspenseful and Erotic but also an intense story of love, loss and strength... LOVED it!
It's rare that I start and finish an entire book in one day but this one had me glued to the couch... just couldn't seem to put it down once I started.
I'm not going to elaborate on the plot because these types of books are always better if you go in blind... otherwise, the suspense is ruined. Definitely stay away from those overly chatty reviews! But, I will say that I just really loved the characters. I loved that the book focused mostly on their erotic love story and the dark was more fade to black. You get enough dark to get the idea but not so much that it was overly disturbing.
The plot does have a little bit of a twist but you kind of know what's going on so no big surprises. I knew while I was reading that there was only a couple of possibilities... person A or person B. The twisty plot line is not why I kept turning the pages. It was the anxious feeling of what lied ahead for the characters after I figured out the who and the what.
This book was so well balanced... just the right amount of suspense and erotica and nothing to over the top. It also fulfills the most important quality that I must have when I read erotica... a well developed and engaging story to go along with the schmexy time. This author writes really, really good steam... the kind that leaves you wanting.. nope... no skimming through the sex scenes with this lady! :)

So, there you have it... another great story by the very talented Alessandra Torre... and, yes... you should definitely add this to your to read pile!
