What a wonderful way to get to know a series. The Perfect Hostage is a fast paced, electric, sexy and action packed little novella. If, like me, you have never read this author, it’s a perfect way to get to know her.

Yes, you can tell there is history with other characters but it in no way deters from the story. If anything I am now intrigued to start from the beginning.

Lucie is dealing with her family and lusting after the man that saved her life. John likewise is lusting after French born Lucie and feeling a bit inadequate socially.  But when the shirt buttons go flying neither one can deny the connection they share.

Total book candy and a great way to get to know a series.
