Dirty Deeds (Dirty Deeds #1) by S.E. Jakes
A
spin off from the Hell or High Water series by author S.E. Jakes. I recommend
reading those two books before jumping into Dirty Deeds. This is a short
story/book and there’s references made from the previous series.
I
absolutely loved Dirty Deeds! Give me spies, intrigue, mystery and beautiful
men any day! Cillian is working deep undercover and the last thing he expected was
find himself being taken by surprise.
For some explicable reason his encounter with a dark and mysterious one night
stand has thrown him. Too bad he didn’t get the chance to even see this man’s
face.
Mal.
After all the info we had about him from Hell or High Water I was over the moon
to get to know him better. Unable to speak due to having his throat slit by a
would be assassin, Mal is a dark and broody man with an intellect unmatched by
his team. Smart, strong, sexy and deadly. What a combo.
He’s
after Cillian and what was supposed to be a distraction to keep the mission
safe turns out to be more than Mal ever dreamed. A scorching attraction facilitated
through a series of IM messaging for information. Mal has kept his identity
hidden and in doing so has set a course of deception and intrigue.
The
ending was one I did not see coming. Neither did Mal or Cillian. It was deeply
explosive for these two. I CAN NOT WAIT for the next book.
