Truthsight by Miriam Greystone

Compelling from the get go! I love a fresh perspective in a fantasy world. I think it’s much needed in this massively popular genre.

Truthsight kept the momentum ‘til the very last page; it’s filled with a wide range of characters and worlds combining to make a well thought-out story. My only criticism is that I wanted more. More inner dialogue from the main character, Doctor Amy. I wanted to spend more time in her head, really getting to the heart of who she is and what makes her tick. I also am inclined to say that some of the other characters’ monologues could have been curtailed a bit. There’s nothing that a stronger edit couldn’t fix. Please don’t take this as a negative as it’s not meant to deter the reader. I am truly excited about the potential for a series and can’t wait to see this author’s journey of development and growth.

I especially hope that this will be an ongoing series, as there are so many characters that I simply MUST know more about. I mean who can’t help but fantasize about strong alpha males (especially ones with deep magical powers)?

It’s a fun and mysterious adventure with a great side of mystical beefcake!
