Madison's Song by Christine Amsden ~Review & Giveaway~

Her voice is enchanting; his soul is black...

Madison Carter has been terrified of Scott Lee since the night he saved her from an evil sorcerer – then melted into a man-eating monster before her eyes. The werewolf is a slave to the moon, but Madison's nightmares are not.

Despite her fears, when Madison's brother, Clinton, is bitten by a werewolf, she knows there is only one man who can help. A man who frightens her all the more because even in her nightmares, he also thrills her.

Together for the first time since that terrible night, Scott and Madison drive to Clinton's home only to discover that he's vanished. Frantic now, Madison must overcome her fears and uncover hidden strengths if she hopes to save him. And she's not the only one fighting inner demons. Scott's are literal, and they have him convinced that he will never deserve the woman he loves.

*Stand-alone companion to the Cassie Scot series

Our beautiful song bird Madison got her own book! Total fan girl moment when I heard this and a big ole YAY when I got my hands on this book!

Madison’s song starts off in the most overwhelmingly emotional way. We are with her throughout the horrible events that took place two years ago and learn of her journey to present. If you are a fan of the Cassie Scot series, as I am, getting into Madison’s head space is a heavy, heady thing. She is trying to not only understand herself better, but also be a better person to the people she values.

With her brother Clinton in need of help, Madison must seek out the pack leader: Scott Lee. Once the center of her fascinations, he now terrifies her. Madison will use her newfound courage and face her fears. She needs his help and will do whatever it takes to facilitate that.

Scott believes himself to be a monster, and one that Madison should steer clear of at all costs. She is too perfect for his dark and crazy world. She needs to stay safe and away from him. Only she calls to him as no other can.

Their journey is one filled with longing, lust, and the want to trust. To trust not only each other, but themselves. I found Madison’s Song to be one of the most emotional books Christina Amsden has written thus far and I can’t wait to read what she produces next.
