I was first introduced to Tanya Holmes when I read Within Temptation. It was one of my top favorite books last year. So, yes, I was looking forward to something new from her and she did not disappoint! This book blew my mind... I LOVED it! Another one to add to my top favorites this year.
This is a book that you must go into blind. Stay away from those overly descriptive reviews that reveal anything about the plot. The element of surprise is what made this book so good. This story is incredibly engaging with a refreshingly original storyline that left me panting for more by the end! I seriously need the second part of this book right now... I can't believe I have to wait! It's killing me...



Dr. Frost is such an incredibly complex character. He is mysterious, sexy and intriguing. The forbidden relationship that develops between him and Denieve has me both on edge but at the same time trying to figure out how the heck things are going to work out. There is a surprise character that steps into the picture that has me completely conflicted. Love/hate, love/hate... two emotions that has these characters so completely divided... and I mean that literally! Just read the book... you'll see what I mean. :)
Yes, this book ends on a cliffy but I absolutely don't care... it's such a well developed storyline and I can see why splitting it into two books is necessary. But, if you don't want to be left hanging the second part comes out in the Fall and you can read them back to back.
If you love Ghost stories, Paranormal Romance and suspense then you can't go wrong diving into this book. It is all those wrapped up into one well written story that definitely had me glued to the pages.

Do I recommend?? Of course I do...
