T's Favorite books of 2014!

Whelp, 2014 has ended and I am left looking over the 220 books I have read during the year. How can I possibly choose just one as a favorite? Hey! I don't have to. After much thought and some re-reading I have settled on a dozen reads that spoke to me in some way.So here, in no particular order, they are.



Unteachable by Leah Raeder
~Unteachable is raw, smart adolescence~

Ball & Chain by Abigail Roux
~Funny and endearing in the best possible way~

Up From the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
~A good author knows when it's time to say goodbye to a series and move on, 
Jeaneine Frost is a very good author~

~Honest and real~

Reckoning by S.J. Harper
~Positively glued to this book~

Love in English by Karina Halle
~After reading it I just wanted to savor and keep it to myself for awhile~

Vincent by D.B. Reynolds
~Palpable connection and snarky, witty banter~
 

Point of No Return by Tiffany Snow
~An incredible ending to a phenomenal series~


The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan
~Unexpected treasure of a read~

Kick by C.D Reiss
~Gritty yet amazing. Kick stayed with me for weeks after reading. I didn't write a full review for this one. I am not sure why. I think I would rather the reader have the same experience as I did going in blind~

  3. Thank you! I'm gonna check out some of the books you mentioned. Love the Cat and Bones (Night Huntress) series, by the way. I binged reading them all last year. Eagerly anticipating Night Prince #3 out later this month. Woot!
