What an ending! It was not
at all what I was expecting. Trying hard to dissuade Natalie from his chosen
sexual lifestyle and kink he attempts to push her too far. Surprisingly for him
it’s not the sex that does it, but his unwillingness to show his emotional side
and his past that drives her away. Our tough-as-nails Sevastyan is forced to
reveal all to his Natalie. Will she stay? You’ll have to read to find out
yourself, guys.
I can honestly say that I
think Coles’ first attempt in the erotica realm was a pretty good one. Although
I do prefer her IAD series, I applaud an author who chooses to delve into the
unknown and try something different. Too many authors will recycle a story line
over and over giving you the same story with just a different cover. Would I have preferred The Professional to
have been one book instead of three parts? Yes. That would be my only negative
really.
As a fan of Kresley Cole I
say Bravo for a dip into the unknown and I can’t wait to read what comes out of
her next.
