  1. You say Sylvia that you do not want to keep us waiting yet, here we are still waiting! It feels like well over 6 months I have been waiting, hang a minute that's because it is!!!! I was really into the series & absolutely loved the story thus far but I am sorry, becuase of the poor mangement, coupled with the waiting without word I am done, my three girlfreinds & I were all reading the series together & having discussions on it, but I no longer wan to wait around hoping for the next installment. We have decided to pull the plug & invest our energy into a complete series & be able fully appeciate a finished product, you have lost 4 major fans because of the poor planning & timing of your story. Good one!

    1. I completely agree!!! This has just been ridiculously too long in waiting for the 4th and 5th book. Done with the series and done with Sylvia Day if this is the way she operates!

    2. I am more than happy to wait for the next installment in this series. As you Sylvia said she can't control the release dates. Also the anticipation to what is gonna happen is fabulous.
      ~single mom patiently waiting

    3. I this is to agree. Waiting a couple of months is ok but .is beyond appropriate timing length. If there is going to be a 4&5 I suggest they be released very soon or you may loose readers, a lot of them.

    4. Happy to wait- gives me something to look forward to!

    5. i will wait for as long as you need to get it out. The series is better the 50 Shades and cannot wait (but i am patiently) to read more...keep up the great work!!

    6. Seriously? This woman is working her but off to write books and yall are being so negative. Honestly, your into the stories so obviously your going to buy the next book no matter how long it takes to come out. Its just a book I love this series but at the end of the day degrading the author because you cant read the next book YET is ridiculous! Find another series to read in the mean time instead of throwing a temper tantrum.

    7. She has no control over the release dates! Sorry but I love her and will continue to read her books! The Crossfire series is the best i've read so I will wait as long as I have to to finish it! Sorry I don't really know what kind of book fan or reader you are if there is a bump and you can't have ebough patients to wait it out for the next book.

    8. Cali dont be so bloody rude. You try and write a book, let alone 2.
If its so hard for you to sit and wait then move on. There is enough
Pressure in the industry without people like you helping.

    1. Why would you remove a negative comment. You asked for comments but if they don't agree with you, you just remove it. Don't ask for comments if you can't take the bad with the good. It was a great series and I got so involved in their love story that when it ended I really got upset to hear their are two more series coming out but no date. I want to finish it now and see what happens.

  3. Happy to wait... Will be worth it to continue reading the saga!!

  4. I agree! I am excitedly waiting to see what is next for Eva and Gideon! The delays have definitely been frustrating, but I read your writing about that on this site and realize it was frustrating for you as well. Hope the publisher learns their lesson or they could lose a rising star!

  5. I will wait years and just keep rereading the first three if that is what it takes I can always read something different and come back to the crossfire series. I am a multi tasker after all but I have so many questions so I won't be far away as I await the answers Thank You Sylvia Day for such great reading 2 thumbs up for you girl!

  7. I am really looking forward to reading the next crossfire books, I think they are well written, better than the 50s books I have read,

  8. Really enjoying the series... Who are those women kidding when they say that they are not going to buy book 4 and 5 because of a delay ha ha of course they will and so will I!!! Great stuff Sylvia

  9. I really enjoyed the first 3 books and I'm soooo looking forward to books 4 & 5, I'll just keep reading the first 3 books over & over again in preparation for the last 2 books!!! I know it will be well worth the wait. I really don't believe for one minute that these women are going to abandon the series because of a slight delay, which is outwith Sylvia's control, they're not fooling anybody!!! Patience is a virtue after all & all good things come to those who wait. ;)

  10. Really sad to see you "loyal" fans feel this way! I have been waiting just as long. On the SD website she goes into how the timing is not her choice, but that of the publication company. The release date is not innSD's hands. I can not wait for book 4!!! And more then happy to re-read books 1-3! A good read never gets old.

  11. Delayed gratification...I can certainly hold out for Ms. Day's next Gideva book. I know I will be very satisfied.

  12. When I read a book, a series specifically, I become invested in it...invested in the characters...I would go as far as to say that I feel like I know the characters personally. I'm an extremely impatient person and waiting for this book is hell..but it is more than worth the wait.

  13. I will wait as long as need be... Although I will admit I miss them terribly but great things come to those who wait.. =)

  14. I loved the first 3 books, and I'm very excited to read book 4 & 5. I will wait for it as long as needed, but it's frustrating that they are taking so long. Just a release date would mean so much to all the fans, then we know what to expect!

  15. I feel like I keeping checking this site for an update every day even though i signed up for the text reminders lol. I keep thinking well maybe they forgot to text me. Cant wait for the next book I hope she announces something soon!

  23. soo frustrating I know. cannot wait any longer. Would somoeone please give us an indication of how many more weeks, months, years before it the release! put us out of our misery already!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Seriously people this is her job such as many of you have yours.. its a damn book! I LOVE the series and I am so excited for the next installments but I'd rather an author take their time and get it right then have it rushed and be a crap book because HER FANS are being rude and obnoxious because all they do is sit around reading? Seriously GET over yourself. Sylvia take your time this is your career and obviously there are many other reasons to have a book take longer then anticipated to release.. which isn't anyone else's concern.. people need to get a life. Keep up the good work girl!

  25. I ate the books up. I am anxiously awaiting books four and five to come out. HURRY UP ALREADY!! Oh and I think i know a few secrets in the next books from reading book 3. When they come out I am going to re-read the series so i get EVERYTHING out of it.

  26. I have to agree with everyone I will wait to read and I have to say that I was a little aggrevated at first having to wait and to hear that there was more to come. I only felt that way because we have to wait to so long to read them. I love the fact that there is more because I never want it to end but eventually all good things come to end. I don't think that I can say that this series was better than 50 shades because that has been my favorite all time book series but in saying that if there ever was a series that came close or lets just say they tie because I love both and Sylvia Day I have read a lot of her books and i'm never disappointed. My main reason for writing is because I wanted to know if both books are going to come out at the same time since we have waited so long or is there going to be another long gap between the two. I can't wait to see their happy ending and also agree that this series needs there own movie instead of HBO series because I don't have it for one and not everyone can afford to have movie channels like that. I hope that they are coming out soon i'm trying to patiently wait lol. Love you Mrs. Sylvia Day keep creating wonderful books and don't worry about the haters they will read too. They just want to fuse and blow smoke out there butt. LOL

  27. I love each book in the series. However, it was a bittersweet ending when I finished book three. I was mad, but then happy to anticipate "more to come." The problem for me is losing interest because of the long wait. I have to keep telling myself it will be worth the wait. My only suggestion: if you will be writing a series, the publishers need to be on the same page as the readers. "Absent makes the heart grow fonder or the readers wander?"

  28. I finished reading all three books during a weeks holiday and loved them, but found myself missing them after just a couple of days, it would be nice to at least have some word from Sylvia about what is happening (whether the release has been put back or it is being proof read etc) I think fans would be a lot more understanding if we had something from her. I live in the uk and books whether e-books or real are not cheap, you don't just invest money in them but, also time. Please Sylvia as a fan from the UK could we just have an update. Missing Gideon and Eva :0(

  29. Well I've been waiting since last year for the 4th book. When the 3rd book came out. But I'm more then happy to wait. I've bought pretty much all her books as it is. Lol. I.just need 5 more from her. I love her books! Im addicted . Lol

  30. Its not Sylvias fault. I will wait as long as it takes. In themeantime I'll read another book of hers.

  31. I love your books much i was upset when it just ended...well done you have intertained me so much taking my mind away from family life i look forward to the next please dont make me wait to long x

  32. I really need to read this book! I am so missing Gideon!!! It feels like forever since I read the third book I need this book

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm not gonna lie. I'll buy the books and read them just to finish the series. However, I can't support any future endeavours. The wait has been far too long with no word. Almost a year later, we should at the very least have a release date. Good job on this series so far, but I can't allow myself to get involved in any more characters/stories if the publisher/writer can't deliver in a timely fashion. I hope you have a good fall back.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Considering she has another series that she never finished, Dream Guardians, which she blames on problems with the publisher, I suspect that the problem with releasing the remaining Crossfire novels lies solely on Ms. Day's shoulders.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I really enjoyed the series, and will buy the rest just to finish the story. I read an article from the author saying that the release of book four would not take as long as the third book. However, here we are still waiting on a release date and nothing. I also, saw where she said they would have a release date in few weeks, that was months ago, again nothing. I understand something's are out of the author's control and are publisher's fault, but this is way too long. I don't think I will commit myself to anymore of her books, but wish her luck.

  37. I love this series. Love the characters and get so caught up in it. Im disappointed that at the 1st of July there is STILL not even a release date. Come on Sylvia you're killing me here! I went back and read the first 3 over the last 2 days just to get them back. Pleade hurry and release I need to know how this pans out for them! Xx

  38. I am will to wait for 4th book but don't know about you all but i like to read the series of book again before new book comes out i need the release date so i know when to start reading before new book comes out

  39. I am so sick of waiting i read all three books after the 50 shades of grey I finished the nooks in like 1 week and a half because I couldn't but it down and it was so good but yet here we are STILL WAITING I get making us wait to promote more sales for the other books but this is just RIDICULOUS AND I HATE IT

PLEASE HURRY UP AND FINISH THE BOOKS LIKE ASAP

  40. Hi Sylvia, I am another of your UK fans who has been waiting for the past year for books 4 & 5 of the Croddfire series. I will continue to wait for these books to come out so I have the complete story before I pick up the 5 books to read the complete story. In future I will buy stand alone stories or make sure the complete series is ready before I buy it. I can't be waiting a year between books. However, I would like to say I tremendously enjoy your ability to capture the reader with your story telling. Keep up the good writting.

  41. Pleaseeeeee give us a date!!!!

  42. Give me a date cause i live in Sweden and i freaking love your books! and about that happy ending could you write more about gideons dreams and that the two of them has to sleep separate is also killing us, i love your books and i'm waiting!!

  43. let us all be impatient patients together. she is doing us a favor, just take a second and think about not ever laying your hands or feasting your eyes on a #CROSSFIRE BOOK at all. now impatient people with snide comments you should be so lucky for Sylvia Day to write for us.
I WILL WAIT, AS IMPATIENT AS I AM.
    much love to you Sylvia...

  44. I am tired of waiting, by now we should have had an idea of the release date. I have read and re-read the three books at least five times and never get tired of the story. But I want to get to end of Gideon and Eva's love story. It's been more than a year!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I have just started reading the Crossfire series. Completed all three books, they are so raw with details and draws in the reader with every dripping reality of situations.
