I am not sure what happened here. I was a fan of book one, A Million Dirty Secrets, but for some reason the same combination just didn’t work for me this time. I found it to be very juvenile and honestly irritating. Sigh….

The story picks up right where it left off in book one so the reader has instant gratification. Not much angst as they reconcile immediately. The “story” they give Lane’s father is farfetched and unbelievable as well. It all just felt predictable and safe.

I really like the authors writing style and flow but the story just didn’t hold me like it’s predecessor. I don’t know, I feel sad giving it this low of a rating but…… for me it honestly was disappointing.

I wasn't a huge, huge fan of book one but it ended in a way that had given me high hopes that this series would grow a little with the second installment. But, this one just wasn't working for me at all... even less than the first one which disappointed me.
The whole "Wonder Peen" and "Double Agent Coochie" thing is just too juvenile for me. Just call it what it is... arrghhhh... I know that it was supposed to be funny. But, I wasn't laughing. So there ya' go!
There was way too much sex and not enough emotional development of the characters. When you're skimming through the sex scenes because you're getting bored that's not a good sign. I need more from erotica than non-stop sex. For me erotica is not worth reading at all if it's not combined with a really, really good story and strong characters.
Immature, juvenile, irritating... that just about sums it up for me....
