Complete Me by J Kenner

Book three and the final in the wonderful Stark Trilogy. I stumbled across book two (Claim Me) and when I finished I had to run and grab book one (Release Me). So when I was lucky enough to snag an ARC of Complete me I was doing a cha-cha

Was there lots of intense foreplay and hot sex? Well of course it’s Damien Stark after all. Alpha male, billionaire and sex on legs. But putting that all aside Complete Me is the story of Damien. Even though the POV is Nikki’s we get a deeper look into Damien. We also get to the heart of his troubled past. We see his realizations that a past of emotional trauma never worked out only feasters. Nikki helps him understand. Throughout the series Nikki seems to be the weaker of the two. Needing Damien to fight her demons but under it all she is the strength.

The unfolding mystery that plays as a back-story was really good in the final book. It’s always been good but Kenner really stepped it up a notch here. I really was guessing until the very end. I was questioning all the people in their lives. Looking for motives and even wondering if Nikki’s besties were the faithful friends  we thought they were.

My ONLY negative in the entire book is a major spoiler so be warned….it is at the bottom of the review.....

Spoiler mentioned below being my only reason this conclusion didn’t get 5 stars.  That being said I will buy and ready anything J Kenner writes at this point. She will be one of my goto authors for sure.

(((SPOILER ALERT)))

The break up scene was a not typical of Damien behavior. He SO would not have let her leave like that. It would have been a downright physical struggle for her to leave. He would have been in her face and reading her like a book. Along with the reunion I was a bit disappointed.It really seemed rushed and that isn’t the usual style.  The mattress at the ready? Hmmmmm…..
