A nice steamy 4 stars for this one...
Well, well, well... if you like a good old fashioned rugged Alpha Male then this is a great book to pick up. Ben is an ex-SEAL and a ladies man. He always intended it to stay that way until he meets Claire. Claire is a challenge for Ben... she's tough, hard headed and most of all a connection to a past he thought was behind him for good. Ben has a son and he is missing and Claire is the key to helping him find the son he never knew he had.
There is plenty to keep you turning the pages as Claire and Ben travel across the country on a desperate hunt to save Sam from a man who is out for vengeance.
Claire is a not a one night stand kind of girl and Ben has no intentions of giving in to his attraction to her but they both got more than they bargained for and as fate would have it... passion takes over.
Ben isn't sure how to handle these strong feelings for Clair and she is bracing herself for the time when she knows he will have to walk away. She knows Ben is not a one woman kind of man.
This is a fast paced story... great characters... plenty of action... plenty of steamy time! Great read for an afternoon of easy reading.
This is part of a series but I had no difficulty reading this as a stand alone book. And, I liked it enough to put Kat Martin on my to read list. I'll definitely be adding more of The Raines of Wind Canyon to my reading pile.
